Celebrate the season with “A Big Band Christmas” by the talented musicians of the 19-piece Space Coast Big Band. The group will have two performances at the historic Surfside Playhouse that pay homage to the legends of the Big Band Era. The program will include big band song arrangements made popular by the likes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller and more. The audience can expect Christmas songs like “Sleigh Ride,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Santa Baby,” “Jingle Bells” and more to be peppered throughout the Saturday performance at 8:00 PM and the Sunday show at 2:00 PM.

Seasoned jazz vocalist Maddy Winer will share the stage, along with talented tribute performer Michael Mirand, who will channel “Ol’ Blue Eyes,” Frank Sinatra in several numbers. Dancers Liz Keimer and Robert Rodriguez will swing to two big band tunes for the additional enjoyment of the audience.

$25 advance tickets to either show are available at through the theatre website at www.SurfsidePlayhouse.org. Tickets at the door are $30.
