MAKING RESERVATIONS
Reservations are required for all of our tours and are subject to availability by calling (321) 784-2602. The best times to call are between the hours of 11:00am-1:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm. Be prepared to provide us with the following:
  • Preferred Date & Type of Tour
  • Number in Party (and age of each participant)
  • Kayak Preferences (single/double)
  • Contact Name, Address & Cell Phone Number
  • Credit Card Information

NOTE** While a credit card is needed to hold your reservation, your credit card will not be billed unless you choose this method of payment on the day of your tour, or you do not cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your scheduled departure.

Payment in full is due at the time of your departure. We accept Visa, Mastercard and, of course, as strange as it sounds, we take cash...remember cash?

WHAT TO BRING ON YOUR KAYAK TOUR
Experience has revealed to us the following important essentials you should bring on any of Ric Hinman's Kayak Eco-Tours to ensure a fantastic time on the water:
  • Sunglasses
  • Wide-Brimmed Hat
  • Sunblock & Bug Repellant
  • Comfortable clothing (light, quick-dry is the best)
  • Sneakers or sandals that stay on your feet
(which you won't mind getting wet!)
  • Disposable-bottled water or hydrating drink
  • Waterproof disposable camera
  • Smiles (mandatory!)
As followers of Murphy’s Laws, we also believe that you might want to keep a towel and maybe even a change of clothes in your car...After all, Murphy has a tendency of cooling people off sometimes and you might get refreshingly wet from paddle drip! We also strongly recommend NOT bringing any electronic devices (cell phones, digital cameras, etc.), valuables, or bad attitudes on your tour...

WHERE WE'LL MEET
Your kayak tour will launch from and return to the boat launch at Ramp Road Park, which is located at the end of Ramp Road in Cocoa Beach. This three-acre neighborhood park provides two boat ramps, picnic facilities, restrooms, play area, a fishing dock, and a lighted tennis court.

FROM THE NORTH:
From the intersection of SR 520 and Highway A1A in Cocoa Beach, go south on A1A for several miles. After passing Minuteman Causeway in the heart of the downtown area, turn right on 5th Street South. Go one block west to N. Brevard Avenue and turn left. Take the first right onto Ramp Road, which leads straight to the park.

FROM THE SOUTH:
If you're coming to Cocoa Beach from the south, travel on North A1A, and make a left at 5th Street South. You'll cross Orlando Ave. (A1A South) and continue one block west to N. Brevard Avenue. Make a left, then take the first right onto Ramp Road, which leads straight to the park.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellations
If you must change or cancel a reservation, we require that you do so within 48 hours of your scheduled kayak tour, or your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your tour. In addition, Ric Hinman's "Lazy Days" Kayak Eco-Tours sometimes finds it necessary and reserves the right to delay or cancel a scheduled kayak tour due to inclimate weather or any other unforseen circumstance beyond our control. Fortunately for everyone, cancellations of a scheduled kayak tour are an extremely rare occurrence and you, as our guest, will not be charged for any tour that we cancel. We will make every effort to reschedule your trip, however, Ric Hinman Kayak shall be released from any liability, including expenses incurred by participants in preparation and travel for the delayed or cancelled kayak tour.

Release of Liability
A participant agreement, release and assumption of risk form must be signed by all of our tour guests in its entirety prior to each kayak tour. This document releases Ric Hinman Kayak and the City of Cocoa Beach from liability in the case of accident or injury. Participation will not be allowed on our trips without these signed documents.

Physical Requirements
Anyone in good health with a positive attitude can enjoy kayaking. All of our guides carry cell phones so help can be summoned just in case of an emergency, but locations are somewhat remote. Please call us and/or consult your physician if you have any concerns regarding your ability to participate on one of our kayak tours. We are happy to discuss any issue/concern with you, however, Ric Hinman Kayak assumes no responsibility regarding provision or cost of medical care or evacuation, and reserves the right to ask for specific doctor's written permission prior to participation on any kayak tour if we feel unsure about the trip’s suitability for you based on medical conditions/issues, age and current physical regimen.

Feel free to call us or e-mail ric@cocoabeach.com if you have any pre-trip or post-trip questions, comments or would simply like to keep in touch!
