Dogs will shred more than homework when they hit the waves for the “Surfing Unleashed” Dog Surfing Championship at Lori Wilson Park on Sunday, April 21. Presented by Beachside Media in association with Brevard Humane Society and Cocoa Beach Kiwanis Club, this event is part of Cocoa Beach’s 55th Annual Easter Surf Contest.

Now in its sixth year, the Brevard Humane Society is requesting “all paws on deck” in an effort to raise awareness and life-saving funds for homeless animals.
